Hip Donelson is a 501(c) 3 charitable organization, formed in 2009 as a way to bring the residents of Donelson together for the good of the community.  Our programs have grown tremendously over the years and our board is very active.  Hip Donelson is a 100 % volunteer organization - no on receives payment for services.

Board members have the potential to service in many areas, as well as to start new initiatives that will affect thousands of residents of our community in a positive way, based upon interest, availability and expertise.   A full list of our programs and services may be found on our website www.hipdonelson.org.

Serving on the Hip Donelson Board will provide numerous ways to develop your leadership skills while contributing to the advancement of our community.  In return, board members are expected to participate in activities (board meetings, conference calls, and special events).

Time and Financial Considerations

Meetings:

  • 6 board meetings a year, Tuesday evenings 6-8pm.

  • Conference calls- as needed

  • Committee participation mostly via email and Facebook

  • Other community events as needed

As with any board, members will be solicited for a cash or in-kind donation, 100% participation is sought; the amount is optional.
