The Neighborhood Halloween Yard Decoration Contest Returns!

It’s almost time for Donelson to get spooky!

Enter your yard/address by Friday, October 2 to be included in this year’s HIP D After Dark Halloween Yard Decoration Contest and community yard tour.

The official Tour List will be released and prizes announced Friday, October 16, giving neighbors plenty of time to check out the decorated homes around Donelson!

RULES:
• Homes must be located within Donelson.
• Decorations should remain PG-13.
• Do not cover or interfere with fire safety equipment, sidewalks, walkways, driveways, or other areas needed for safe access.
• Please be considerate of your neighbors. Avoid excessive noise, overly loud sound effects, or flashing/strobe lights that could create a disturbance.
• Judging will include only the portion of your yard and home that is visible from the driveway or street. Judges will not enter private property.

Judging will take place the evenings of October 24 & 25.

Winners will be announced on the HIP Donelson Facebook page on Monday, October 26!

• South: Murfreesboro Pike, following the turn near the airport and out to Bell Road
• West: Fesslers Lane
• North: Cumberland River, stretching over to Ravenwood Park
• East: Target Shopping Center area, then down Stewarts Ferry Pike to Bell Road and over to Elm Hill Marina
